You may have read in previous news items, last year we started our adventurous journey in exploring and piloting Moodle as an alternative Learning Management System and Articulate Rise as authoring tool to better serve the didactic needs of the global health education ecosystem.
To maximize the outcomes of this journey we have been looking for a person with many specific capacities, such as expertise, dedication, relevant skills and curiosity; values which are all combined in our newest team member: Alžběta Koždoňová, or simply Bety.
Hi! My name is Bety and I am beyond thrilled to be joining Health[e]Foundation as the new Digital Learning Expert. As a firm believer that everyone has the right to access good quality education, I aim to make sure that members of vulnerable communities can enjoy engaging educational activities and keep on thriving. My previous experience lies at the intersection of child protection and parenting programming for adolescents and their families to protect them from risks they face in humanitarian settings (including COVID-19, GBV and SRHR) in the non-profit sector, educational design and research at universities in the Netherlands and studies of psychology and pedagogy in the international development settings. In my free time, I explore the world together with my son and my partner and we enjoy connecting with locals, tasting new flavors and finding nice parks to picnic. When alone, I take care of my plants, meditate, swim in cold waters, engage in creative hobbies and go and join my friends for a good game of streetball in the park.
