Hi! My name is Emebet Hussen. I am a midwife and a public health professional with a Master’s Degree in Public health. I am honored to be joining the Health[e]Foundation team as a project manager for Ethiopia. It is a great opportunity for me to share my experience and also to learn from this energetic and motivated team! I have more than 20 years of experience working in governmental and nongovernmental organizations in the health sector. I have experience in maternal, neonatal, child, adolescent and youth health projects, as both a midwife adviser and as a consultant at the Ethiopian Midwives Association (EMwA).
I am looking forward to work together with our partners here in Ethiopia to support healthcare professionals and community workers in the world’s most vulnerable societies to ensure quality health for everyone in need by providing digital education and information.
My hobbies are listening to spiritual music, reading books, helping people in need and visiting historical places with my family.
