After more than four years, we waved goodbye to Judith de Lange. Over the years, Judith has been involved in many projects where she contributed to all facets of Health[e]Foundation’s work, from writing funding proposals to the implementation and evaluation of projects worldwide.
Judith has excelled in multitasking, with an open mind for creative solutions, looking at challenges with a positive attitude and a smile. Last year, she contributed to the Health[e]Families project in Ethiopia, the pilot projects of the MyHealth@Hand app in Uganda and Tanzania, the Rwanda Health[e]Communities project and the start of the ‘Zorg in de Hand’ Project in Suriname. She effectively managed these projects, liaised with stakeholders and has been a warm welcoming host and mentor for the new team members who joined in 2019.
As a world-traveler Judith decided to leave Health[e]Foundation in January to explore the Latin-American continent starting in Peru. We, and many of the ones that she worked with in the past 4 years, will truly miss her but of course we wish her the best of luck during this well-deserved trip and all her future endeavors!
