Digitalization workshop during NUFFIC 70 years anniversary event

On 1st December we celebrated the impressive 70 years anniversary of NUFFIC, for which occasion they organized the “Meet the world, make the change” event in the presence of her Excellency the Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.

The event started with a plenary session reminding the 400+ participants about the value of international education and global collaboration.

For this special day, Health[e]Foundation was invited to organize a workshop entitled “Digitalization and blended learning as a means to promote equal access to education and skill development” – to share our experience and results of two successful NUFFIC-funded projects which were implemented in Ethiopia together with the Ethiopian Midwives Association.

During the workshop, apart from presenting the e-learning projects, digital opportunities and benefits of blended learning, the importance of integration with the Sustainable Development Goals – SDG 3: Good health and well-being, and SDG 5: Gender Equality was highlighted.

The workshop ended with an interactive and lively “Agree-Disagree” discussion among participants on digitalization, promotion of equal education, equal partnerships, and more. We look forward to continue the works with NUFFIC in 2023!
